Aida Robbana, UN Program Specialist
Collaboration Between Rotary and the UN

Ms. Robbana will be joining us virtually, live from Tunisia (where it will be 1:30am)!

Aida Robbana has a MA of the Institute of the High studies of Carthage (Institut des Hautes études
commerciales, IHEC) as well as a PhD on international Economy and Management from the University of
Paris IX Dauphine, France.
Before joining the United Nations in Tunis, she worked as senior economist at Eurostats in Paris during
three years, then for7 years in anOffice ofUrban planningStudies inTunisia,Dirasset,where shewas senior
economist.
She has joined the United Nations in Tunis in 2002 as a coordination Officer then as Head at the office of
the Resident Coordinator, where she took care of the follow-up and the implementation of the operations
and programmes of the United Nations Agencies with the Tunisian government. She is also a lead
Facilitator for the UN for common country programming issues, dealing with RBM, Human rights, theory of
Change, Design thinking, strategic planning, conflict resolution and mediation. In 2019, Aida joined the
Resident coordinatoroffice inUAEfor3months.
Since the beginning of 2020, she is in charge of the SDGs integration and innovation as a Programme
specialist in UNDP Tunisia.
Aida speaks five languages.
